D.U.T.C.H.I was born and raised in The Netherlands, surrounded by some of the best house music in the world. From an early age, he explored piano, guitar, and trumpet, laying the groundwork for a deep musical connection. After stepping away for a time, his passion reignited in his 40s—this time through the joy of DJing and producing electronic music. It all started at Burning Man and then evolved tremendously over the years. Burning Man is where he goes every year to be inspired and re-charge. Starting with Afro beats, indie, and melodic tech, his sound has evolved into a driving mix of Tech House, Afro House, and melodic psychedelic grooves. Over the past few years, D.U.T.C.H.I aka River Daddy has performed at some of San Diego’s top venues, captivating crowds with his energy and dynamic sets. Now, he’s looking to expand his reach and share his music with wider audiences. He als formed a band called Vibe Tribe Collective that performs live sets and takeovers for a truly captivating and memorable experience.
